Texas Women

heck yeah! ... take a minute to read and ENJOY!

> Three men were sitting together bragging about how
> they had given their new wives duties. Terry had
> married a woman from Utah, and bragged that he had
> told his wife she was going to do all the dishes and
> house cleaning that needed to be done at their
> house. He said that it took a couple days, but on the third
> day he came home to a clean house and the dishes
> were all washed and put away.
>
> Jimmie had married a woman from Florida. He bragged
> that he had given his wife orders that she was to do
> all the cleaning, dishes, and the cooking. He told
> them that the first day he didn't see any results,
> but the next day it was better. By the third day, his
> house was clean, the dishes were done, and he had a
> huge dinner on the table.
>
> The third man had married a Texas girl. He boasted
> that he told her that her duties were to keep the
> house cleaned, dishes washed, lawn mowed, laundry
> washed and hot meals on the table for every meal.
> He said the first day he didn't see anything, but by
> the third day most of the swelling had gone down and he
> could see a little out of his left eye. Enough to
> fix himself a bite to eat, load the dishwasher, and call
> a landscaper.

I love Sundays. After church I almost always spend time with family. I'm so blessed to have such a great family. Every quirky member means so much to me. Yesterday we spent time at my aunts house. My grandma (I call her Pita because as a toddler I couldn't pronounce Abuelita) was there too. She's a fantastic grand mother! I'm a lucky girl!

Here's a group of pictures I took of my cousin Tevi and his doggie Dakota.

They're so cute together!

Enough about my family for now...

Hope you and your families are doing well. Blessings galore!

Quote of the day:

It is not flesh and blood but the heart which makes us family.

My 4th was grand! My dad smoked/bar-b-que'd just about every meat he could find! I mean we had Ribs (THE BEST), Sausage (THE BEST), Burgers (THE BEST) , Chicken (THE BEST), & Fish (THE BEST) -- he even smoked/roasted the corn on the cob! So so so so sososososo good. Mouth watering yet??? it should be!

Goliath came too... he LOVES riding in the car!

Wound up spending the late evening with friends. Reagan was in town for the weekend for a wedding so it was great getting to see her. I must go visit her in NYC soon! MUST! And Matt's cool too... i guess . They are great fun! Not sure if the kind folks and Denny's appreciated the minor straw filled with water fight we had though.... pish!

Quote of the day:

"Patriotism... is not short, frenzied outbursts of emotion, but the tranquil and steady dedication of a lifetime." ~Adlai Stevenson

I Hope you all had a wonderful 4th, and even more I hope those patriotic feelings stick for a lifetime!
